About this space

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway.

In the old water bowl of the nuns house, next to the church in Soto on Curacao, Gerard has created a beautiful spacious accommodation. Close to the most beautiful beaches of the Island, ideal for those who want to discover the authentic Curacao. Divers, hikers, beach and nature lovers who are open to the local splendor of Banda abou!

In consultation, a car is available at the accommodation. This is rented separately.

The space

The property consists of a detached building (Monumental water bowl) in the grounds of Het Kloostertje. The property consists of 2 floors with a spacious bedroom with bathroom on the floor. On the ground floor is the living/ dining room with open kitchen and access to a covered terrace (porch).

Guest access

In principle, guests can use the entire property with respect for the owner who is present in the monastery itself. A cup of coffee or glass of wine with Gerard is always possible but of course you don't have to. Your privacy is respected.

Other things to note

Het Kloostertje is right in the heart of Soto and breathes the authenticity of Banda Abou. You won't find a "closed community" behind bars and high walls but a friendly open environment. Without being blind to the various "challenges" of the island. Our dogs like to host guests but also do their best to prevent uninvited guests. In the evening the gate locks.
